GROOVE JET (8) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 3.5 lengths back in third over 5½f at Kilmore. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. EVIL LOVER (7) showed good early dash at the first run after a lay-off last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing a neck away in second over 5f at Mornington. Expected to be in this for a long way. BRAZEN MARTINI (1) raced once in the maiden campaign when 12th at Donald over 6f back on May 11. Worth following up.
