KUROSHINZO (3) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths, last start over 1m at Gilgandra. Likely to measure up. WRITTEN BY CHOICE (1) finished 1.1 lengths away in second last time out at Gilgandra. On a nine-day back-up. Strong run last time and is likely to be in the finish. HOWZAT HARRY (2) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start over 1m at Tamworth, beaten 1.5 lengths. Ready to go a couple better. GREAT SOUTHERNLAND (8) again failed to feature last start, finishing sixth and beaten 2 lengths over 6f87yards at Gilgandra. Will drift back but wind up late. Not to be discounted.
