BARCOO RIVER (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when seventh over 5½f at Mudgee two weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. DUPENNY (7) took advantage of a low draw last time and led throughout, saluting by 1.4 lengths over 5½f at Narromine. Will prove very tough to beat. SNOWDROP (4) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 5f at Tuncurry, finishing second and beaten a neck when she did her best work late. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ODDSOCK (9) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 10 when beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth at Tamworth over 5f. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot return to winning ways.
