POPPY BOXER (11) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5f at Scone. Sure to improve and can get off the mark this time. VINLAGO (4) hit the line nicely last time to grab third, beaten 1.5 lengths, over this journey at Gunnedah. A repeat of the latest effort will see him in the finish again. HIGH CHARGE (2) is a seven-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 2.75 lengths when sixth over 5½f at this track. Gets back but will wind up late. Will be picking them up late. SIZZLING TALE (9) raced on speed last time before fading to finish tenth over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the better hopes.
