SALT LAKE BETTY (11) didn't do a bad job when third last start after being prominent at the turn over 6f at this track, beaten a nose. That followed a win at Beaudesert the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can return to the winner's circle. RUNWITHTHETIDE (2) hasn't raced since finishing eighth over 7f at Rosehill on June 15 and has since switched stables. Placed in a recent trial at Doomben. Good fresh performer with a win and two minor placings from four runs. Should feature in the finish. MISS EMMA (12) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth and only a long neck from the winner at the end of 6f. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. TALANA (6) finished 3.5 lengths back in seventh over 6½f at Toowoomba last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Takes on a tougher assignment but cannot be underestimated.
