OUT OF ACES (3) was having his first run for the Stuart Kendrick yard last start when he made steady ground to run into third over 7f at Sunshine Coast at the first run back from a lay-off. Expected to run well again. AMADOR (1) finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 7f at Beaudesert, an improvement on his 11th at Grafton the run before. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. EFFIE'S JOY (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m1/4f at this track. Nicely placed to get the prize. SILK WARRIOR (8) turned in a much better run at his second appearance last time out when 5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6¾f at this track. Open to further improvement.
