DIRT CHEAP (4) went forward and proved too strong when resuming last time out, scoring by 3.5 lengths over 5½f at Gatton. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. FIRST PERSON (8) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish one length back in second over 5f at Eagle Farm. In the right race and is sure to prove hard to beat. FIELD OF MYRTLE (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5½f at Grafton, beaten only a nose after being in contention on the bend. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to figure in the finish. VELOCE METEOR (6) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Gold Coast Poly two starts back then got the job done by half a length last time out over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
