NO BRAKES (5) drifted back early on debut last start then worked home fairly to finish 1.4 lengths away in fourth at Ipswich over 6f. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. RESURRECTED (7) is ready to win after he just missed last time, beaten a neck into second over 7f65yards at Queanbeyan after being prominent from the outset. Has good early speed. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. CASANOVA MAN (2) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Sunshine Coast. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. MEHRETU (14) finished 2.5 lengths away in fifth at her last appearance over 6¾f at Ipswich on July 24. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes.
