ANGEL CAPITAL (5) drifted back then closed strongly to score as favourite on debut over 5f at Cranbourne three weeks ago. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. EL MORZILLO (11) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 6f in the G2 Percy Sykes Stakes at Randwick. Will drift back but will be getting home hard. BITTERCREEK (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at Moonee Valley over 6f. Goes up a notch this time but still has winning claims on his best figures. PRESIDENT (7) is back after a break of 11 weeks. At the last run before the layoff he finished fifth over 6f in the G2 Skyline Stakes at Randwick. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Canterbury trial. Has ability so don't underestimate.
