DENY KNOWLEDGE (6) Group 2 winner. Showed early speed from a good draw last time and led until they straightened, eventually finishing fourth and beaten 3 lengths over 1m4f in the LR Mornington Cup. Tougher assignment this time but should measure up. Group 1 placegetter SPIRIT RIDGE (2) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 1m2f in the LR Wagga Wagga Gold Cup. Should be hard to stop. NEW ENDEAVOUR (5) Group 2 placegetter. Is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when sixth over 1m in the G3 Hawkesbury Gold Cup. Has never been out of the placings at the third run in and looks a clear threat. REGAL LION (11) Group 1 placegetter. Found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 1m3f at Eagle Farm. Will drift back but wind up late. Deserves respect on best figures.
