EN POINTE (7) finished 3.5 lengths back in third over 6f at this track last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Best figures should see her run well. MINKS STAR (8) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by 0.8 lengths over 5f at Sunshine Coast Poly. In great form and is well-placed to feature again. ISLAND MAGIC (6) got well back over 5f at Eagle Farm last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 4 lengths away in sixth. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. The engagement of Ryan Maloney is a positive move. This is a nice drop in grade so she is one of the main contenders. POLE POSITION (9) lines up for the first time since September 27.
