METAVERSE (6) was well found in the betting last time out but could only manage to finish tenth over 1m2 1/2f at Hobart in a disappointing performance. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. EASTCOAST MISS (10) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish fourth, beaten only 1.2 lengths, over 7f32yards at Hobart. Backmarker who keeps coming. Leading contender. RICH CLAN (1) finished sixth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 7f at Hobart, beaten only one length after being prominent at the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. CAPTAIN CAM (8) built on a nice third two starts back at Launceston with a win over 7f32yards at Hobart two weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again.
