TRICKY MIKKI (9) finished second two runs back at Launceston then improved last time out to score by a nose over 7f at Launceston. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. BANKROLLBENNY (2) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by 0.8 lengths over 6¾f at this track. Drawn to go forward again. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ALPINE BLAST (4) was never in contention when 3 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6¾f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Hobart the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ALPINE AFFAIR (3) has been thereabouts lately, the latest finishing a 2 length fourth at this track over 6¾f. Will drift back but wind up late. Not to be discounted.
