CORNELIAN BAY (1) has not appeared since he finished seventh over 1m at Hobart on January 21. Has recorded three wins when when resuming from a break. Looks a winning chance. MR FREEZE (15) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths at Hobart over 5½f. Nicely placed to make amends. POWER MAGNUM (12) disappointed last time when sixth over 6f21yards at Launceston after a close second at Launceston the run prior. Better suited at this shorter trip so worth forgiving. MANDATE (9) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f21yards at Launceston after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best efforts measure up so capable of another big run.
