CALIFORNIA TIGER (1) settled towards the tail then wound up strongly to finish 2.5 lengths away in second when resuming last start over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Well placed to feature again. CAJUN BROTHER (4) displayed plenty of early toe over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt) last time and went on to score by 2.5 lengths. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. JOE DON LOONEY (5) was narrowly beaten last start when second in a small field over 5½f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Goes well at this journey with four wins from 11 starts and is one of the prime contenders. GOOD VIBES ONLY (2) resumed over 5½f at Santa Anita (Dirt) last start when he sat close to the before fading in the straight to finish fourth, beaten 6 lengths.
