FAST CHAZ (9) is a seven-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 5.5 lengths when eighth over 1m at this track (Turf). Fitter and with the blinkers on he makes considerable appeal. BATTLE CRUISER (5) is a maiden with two minor placings to his name. Could not improve on that record when resuming last start, winding up in seventh over 1m at this track (Dirt). Should take a lot from that last outing. Ideally placed to get off the mark. BARTHOLDY (10) did little and finished 2.75 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Santa Anita the run before. This is a nice drop in grade so he is perfectly placed to score. BROADWAY UNIONS (7) resumes from a lay-off of three months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Solid top-three hope.
