Group 3 placegetter PLAGUE STONE (6) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 6f at this track, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can add to the picket fence. PINK PANTHER (3) steps up in trip after scoring last time by a head over 5½f at this track on June 15. Gets some weight relief this time so another bold showing is expected. THE CLAIMANT (5) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Neil Dyer barn. Resumes after finishing seventh at Pakenham at his last run 12 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks nicely placed. Leading prospect. AMERICAN JAZZ (4) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6½f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will benefit from that outing. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Capable of another top-three outcome.
