SOJU (5) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.3 lengths at this course and distance last start in a far better run. Finds another suitable race and can do it again. SQUAD (1) finished eighth over this distance, beaten 4.5 lengths, when resuming at his latest outing. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring three times from six starts. Should camp just off the leaders. Best figures should see him run well. MR TICKLES (3) lines up for the first time since January 11. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5f at Bendigo. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. COUNT NICHOLAS (2) finished seventh over 5f at Mornington at his most recent appearance on December 28. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
