QUEEN MAXIMA (6) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6f at Canberra last start, a less impressive effort than her seventh at Sapphire Coast the run before. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. ONEOFTHETWELVE (2) ran below expectations last time at Bathurst, finishing sixth and beaten 6 lengths starting at 7/1. Likely improver with strong prospects. DANISH LANE (10) had a bit on her rivals last time out, scoring an impressive 8 lengths maiden win over 6¾f at Yass. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. HAMMERING AWAY (1) launched his career with a win then was not as effective last time out when 12th over 6f at Dubbo, beaten 7 lengths. Well placed and can make amends.
