XCEPTIONAL FELLA (13) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 5f at Canberra. Will be tough to stop again. SNIPPETY STAR (1) resumed over 4½f and turned in a fair run to finish seventh at Queanbeyan. Has never missed the frame second up and gets chance to show best. CHAMP DE MARS (2) won her maiden three starts back and is nearing another victory with placings at her last two runs, most recently when third over 5½f at Nowra. Has never been out of the placings in four starts at this journey and is one of the prime contenders. ELLESSTHREE (3) closed last prep ten months ago when she finished sixth over 6f at Moonee Valley. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. One of the main contenders.
