BESSON (1) recorded a strong maiden win over 1m1 1/2f at Leeton last time, getting there by 1.75 lengths. Shaping up nicely and he is likely to feature in the finish again. THE RIGHT REIN (2) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Less impressive last time out when sixth over 7f at Nowra, beaten 3 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. DOWNTOWN'S ABBEY (5) finished out of the money two starts back then she was never in contention and was beaten 3.5 lengths when fourth over 1m at Leeton a week-and-a-half ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. CLEAREDHOT (3) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Wagga, beaten 7 lengths into eighth. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
