ANOTHER GIFT (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 7 lengths away in eighth over 1m at Inverell. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. APACHE DOC (2) travelled in a rearwards position then made some inroads and finished 6 lengths away in ninth last time out over 7f at Grafton a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will be tough to stop. AHOY (4) had been performing well until racing below her best last time when tenth over 1m at Wean. Should park just off the speed. Winning claims on best figures. CHOWDAH (3) scored a turf track win in a over 1m at Wean then followed up with a minor placing on dirt over 1m1/2f at Carinda most recently. Commendable record at this trip with a win and five minor placings and is a key contender.
