SCARLET MONARCH (8) was below her best last time, finishing ninth and beaten 10 lengths over 5f at Scone. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. EVIL LOVER (5) last appeared five-and-a-half weeks ago over 5f at Warrnambool when she finished eighth. This is her first run for the Sally Taylor stable. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. GETTIN' UP (2) has not raced since his debut on June 20 over 6f at this track when he finished fifth, beaten 5 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up. COOK MY GOOSE (7) is a daughter of Zousain out of Osaycan who was purchased for AUD $ 13,000 (Magic Millions 2024 Gold Coast Yearling Sale). In the placings at most recent Grafton trial.
