OUR BRIGHTEST STAR (5) made progress last time out, finishing 14 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6½f at this track. This doesn't look as hard so he is a big chance to get the prize. CANDY MAN MARTIN (7) has been in the betting at both starts but has failed to break through. Most recently finished fifth over 6½f at this track (Dirt), beaten 7 lengths. Must respect recent market confidence so give him another chance. THE HOUND (8) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 6½f at this track, beaten 21 lengths into eighth. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. SABER JET (2) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations.
