ICE BAR (2) resumes in a similar race to his last run six months ago when he scored by half a length. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Expect him to play a major role. GRAND MANNER (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 16 lengths into sixth. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MISTER WINSTON (9) finished 7 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7f at this track three weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Strong top-three chance. MR HOOVER (1) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle.
