Group 1 winner GEAR UP (9) pushed forward when resuming last time and boxed on to finish 2 lengths away in third over 1m2f at this track. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. Group 2 winner IMMEDIACY (16) travelled in a rearwards position then made a little ground and finished 3.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7½f at Moonee Valley when resuming from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. Major player in this line up. Group 2 placegetter SAINT GEORGE (15) is having his second run back from a break after finishing 2 lengths from the winner in eighth when resuming over 1m1/2f in the LR Heatherlie Stakes at this track. Stiffer assignment here but still one of the main contenders. Group 2 winner QUE TEMPESTA (1) should run fitter after turning in a fair race when resuming over 1m1/2f in the LR Heatherlie Stakes at this track. Has never been out of the placings second up and rates a definite each-way hope.
