Group 3 winner ANOTHER WIL (3) was an impressive when resuming winner last time out in an easier race over 7f at this track, getting home by a long neck. Has a strong record at the trip and is all set to make it two-for-two this prep. Multiple Group 3 winner HERE TO SHOCK (2) fought on well to finish second last start over 7f at this track, beaten a long neck when fresh from a lay-off. Daniel Stackhouse gets the best out of this seven-year-old gelding. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. Group 3 placegetter JIMMY THE BEAR (7) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was one length from the winner in sixth over 1m1/2f in the LR Heatherlie Stakes at this track. Going well and he gets his chance in this suitable contest. CRAIG (9) was an impressive winner last time over 7f at this track. Drifted back on that occasion then lengthened impressively to score by 2.25 lengths. Luke Currie who has three wins when partnering stays on. Can play a role in the finish.
