DARTS DALY (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when ninth over 5½f at Warrnambool two-and-a-half weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. STATE OF MAINE (6) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track. Will take a lot from that hitout. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. THUNDERANLIGHTNING (3) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a seventh over 5½f at Hamilton. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. DIABLO (4) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when 14th over 7f at Hobart after he gave away a big start. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
