THUNDER POINT (9) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool. Is in solid form this time in work, scoring three times and placing on four occasions from 10 starts. Should be in the finish. Multiple Group 2 placegetter KHOEKHOE (2) proved too strong two runs ago at Terang. Not as effective last time out when seventh over 1m2f at Caulfield, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a major player. PICAROON (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when sixth over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool two-and-a-half weeks ago. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. FLOSSING (16) showed little early speed last start then came with a powerful run to finish third over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool. Well placed and is among the chances.
