PERSIAN DANCER (6) finished fifth two runs back at Cootamundra then improved last time out to score by 4.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner over 1m at Wagga. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. VAGUER (1) was a determined winner two runs back then raced on the speed last time before finishing second over 1m4f at Randwick Kensington. Good enough to take this out. CHEVAL SAVANT (3) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a eighth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 1m1f at Randwick Kensington. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Should be involved in the finish. OLD GREGG (7) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1m4 1/2f at Wagga, finishing 4 lengths from the winner as favourite. Winning claims on best figures.
