YASUKE (5) turned in an eye-catching run last time out over 7f at Randwick Kensington, charging home from well back to finish a head away in second. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and will play a prominent role. LA SANTE (9) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 4.5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6f at Canberra Acton a week-and-a-half ago as 7/2 favourite. Tackles a longer journey this time. Meets a much tougher line-up this time but can measure up. NOBLE CONQUEROR (6) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 0.8 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. GO ELLIE GO (13) ran below expectations last time at Canberra Acton, finishing fifth and beaten 2.25 lengths. Well placed to make amends.
