MOUNTAIN TOP (8) was a most impressive maiden winner over 6f at Newcastle last time out when resuming, scoring by 3.5 lengths. Sure to prove tough to beat again with that win now under her belt. IT'S A KNOCKOUT (2) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 7f at Randwick Kensington three weeks ago. Promising type who can measure up again. LA BELLE CLAIRE (4) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by a nose last time out over 7½f at Kembla Grange. This is her optimum trip with two wins from four starts and has to be respected. EXCEED PERFECTION (6) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 7½f at Rosehill, finishing fourth and beaten 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to play a big role.
