ITA (6) ran below expectations last time after being in contention on the bend at Rosehill, finishing seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths starting at 13/2. Worth noting Adam Hyeronimus goes aboard. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. KOKORO (9) resumed last time out and finished second over 7f27yards at Moruya, beaten 2.75 lengths. Has a good record at this journey with two wins from nine starts. Leading contender. SPECIAL ENVOY (2) was given a short break after finishing sixth over 7½f at Rosehill. Kept ticking over with a subsequent trial at Randwick. Rates highly and sure to be competitive. TARAASHOQ (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7½f at Rosehill, beaten 2.75 lengths into fifth. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
