MIWOMAN (4) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 7½f at this track (Turf), finishing 9 lengths back in sixth. Nicely placed to make amends. LADY ASTRID (2) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. MIZ CALI (1) has built a long sequence of minor placings, the latest a second over 1m at this track (Dirt). Yet to break through at this trip but has registered three minor placings so she is a leading contender. AUNT ALEX (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 1m at this track. This looks a good race for her and she is one of the key runners.
