COMMISSIONER OSCAR (7) drifted back over 7½f here last time before winding up late to finish fourth, beaten 6 lengths. Capable of overwhelming this field late in proceedings. VICTORIOUS VANDA (9) has been in great form with three placings in succession, most recently when beaten 1.3 lengths into second over 7½f at this track (Turf) when he was prominent throughout. Looks well placed so expect another big run. GABRIEL'S LEGEND (6) improved last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 7½f at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. CATRICK (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 45 lengths away in seventh over 1m at this track. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
