CLAVADATSCH (14) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was in the firing line on the bend before being beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh over 6f at Pakenham. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. KOMACHI (5) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 0.9 lengths back in sixth over 7f at Pakenham. Will push forward and is among the chances. GAZE GRISE (1) was in contention on the turn and finished third last start over 6f at Colac, beaten 2.25 lengths. Will be rock-hard fit. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
