SON OF A BOOM (16) did well to score at Wangaratta two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when fifth over 1m1f at Gundagai, beaten 1.4 lengths after making up late ground. Enjoys a drop in grade so he will prove hard to beat. OKRA (12) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 1m at Tatura when beaten 3.5 lengths. Among the leading chances. FRANKIE TWO ANGELS (3) fought on for third last start over 1m1 1f at Tatura, beaten 5.5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
