ONE PUNCH (6) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when third over 6½f at this track. Nice draw here and looks well placed to break through. ZOUBOLTZ (8) settled well back when 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his when resuming fifth at Bunbury the run before. Worth noting Chris Parnham goes aboard. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MAJOR MARIO (4) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 4 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5f at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Can play a big role. DEFIANT DIORITE (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 24 when beaten 12 lengths into 11th at this track over 6f. In the right race and should be thereabouts.
