THE HILL TRIBE (2) is still a maiden after eight starts but was placed at Pinjarra when resuming before finishing 12th at Pinjarra last start. This looks his chance to break through. PIRATE'S ALLEY (5) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth over 6½f at Northam. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. TOKYO FIRE (12) stepped out on her debut over 6½f at Northam two weeks ago and finished fifth, beaten 2.2.5 lengths. Better for that run and can improve sharply. SCHNOOTS (8) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
