ABISSI (1) was an emphatic winner last time over 1m at Northam with this rider Chris Parnham engaged. Harder here but should be in the finish. HIT THE LIGHTS (5) did little and finished 14 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1m2 1/2f at this track last start after being prominent at the corner, a less impressive effort than her eighth at Bunbury the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DESERT EDGE (2) is a last-start winner over 1m3f at Northam, showing good early speed on the occasion and leading throughout to score by 0.9 lengths. Among the chances again. BUCKLAND (6) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m at this track. Looks to be in the right race so expect another big run.
