SENTIMENTAL BELLE (8) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track with a win as public elect over 6f at Bunbury two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves plenty of thought. KING CARTEL (3) finished 1.1 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in contention on the corner over 6f at Bunbury, an improvement on his when resuming fifth at this track the run before. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be taken lightly. ANOTHER STRIKE (1) won when resuming at this track then finished second last time out over 6f at this track, beaten one length. Fitter for recent racing so a big run is likely. HIDDEN RUBY (7) scored last start at Kalgoorlie to make it three wins and two placings from five starts this campaign. Will find this tougher but cannot be underestimated.
