PATTERA (3) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 4½f at Wellington when third, beaten 1.5 lengths. Has plenty of upside so he should be in the finish again. ROOM FOR SQUARES (10) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on March 30 finishing eighth and beaten 13 lengths over 6¾f at Wyong. Comes here with definite top-three claims. LIVEWIRE LASS (7) is a two-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Annabel Neasham. By Trapeze Artist from Coromandel. Trialling in good style and looks forward enough. Worth watching for a betting push.
