GIGI FILLE (9) is back after a break of four months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 6½f at Taree. Looks a winning chance. RAINAGAIN (4) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Canberra, beaten 5 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the turn. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. NAMOI RIVER (2) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of nine weeks, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6f at this track. One of the leading chances. ALFAVITA (3) was never in contention when resuming last start over 6f at Newcastle, finishing seventh and beaten 11 lengths. Solid contender in this line up.
