TROPIC SANDS (1) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by a head over 1m1/4f at Beaudesert. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. SMOOTH TORQUE (8) has been hard to follow, last time out finishing ninth over 1m1f at Eagle Farm. This is far easier. Bold showing expected. BOLD HOI HO (2) got well back over 7½f at Port Macquarie last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 10 lengths away in ninth. Likely improver with strong prospects. HIGHLAND HILL (4) won at Gold Coast two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing sixth over 1m2f at Murwillumbah. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
