COLD ONE (1) showed good pace over 7f at Gold Coast last time and dug deep to score by half a length. Looks well placed so expect another big run. WONDERLAND STAR (11) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 7f at Grafton. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. SHOWDRA (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 6¾f at Warwick, beaten 7 lengths into 13th. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. FIVE RINGS (3) has not won for a long while. Last raced on November 9 when beaten 3 lengths into fourth at Doomben over 6¾f after he gave away a big start. Placed to advantage so expect a bold run.
