ORPHAN'S TRUST (5) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by a neck over 6f at Dalby. Fitter for that last hitout and looks sure to be in the finish again. AL ASH LAD (3) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 6f at Gold Coast, beaten 8 lengths into tenth. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. PRANCING WITH FIRE (8) is back after a break of eight months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 6f at Swan Hill. Now under the care of new trainer Fleur Blanch. Definite top-three chance. NICKELBACK (4) showed early speed from a good draw last start then battled on well for third, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 7f21yards at Grafton. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
