BRAVE DEEL (1) proved too strong two runs ago at Toowoomba. Less impressive last time out when eighth over 1m2 1/2f at Lismore, beaten 3 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. OCTAVIO (16) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 12 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1m2 1/2f at Lismore. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MISSAYTER (6) didn't do a bad job when fifth last start after being in contention on the bend over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly, beaten 2.25 lengths. That followed a win at Gold Coast Poly the start prior. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. SMOKIN MATCH (11) was never in contention last time over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly when he finished eighth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Likely to be thereabouts.
