SEA OF LIGHTS (8) bounced back last start and scored by 1.3 lengths after being prominent at the turn as favourite over 7½f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can go on to make it two in a row. CABLE DANCER (6) was well fancied last time but could only manage third over 1m3f at Pakenham Synthetic after being well positioned to strike on the corner. Likely to be in the finish again. ALCHIAN (1) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 1.1 lengths away in third over 1m2f at Wagga. One of the main contenders. RUDHYAR (3) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 3 when beaten 0.7 lengths into fifth at Murray Bridge over 1m1f. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done.
