GRATE CRACK (4) is a three-start maiden who could only manage to finish fifth at his latest appearance over 1m2f at Mildura. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. CRAFTY BOSS (2) again failed to feature last start, finishing eighth and beaten 15 lengths over 1m3/4f at Geelong. Strong chance to open his account. KAUAI (10) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m2 1/4f at Wodonga, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. TORBELO (7) was prominent at the bend and finished third last start over 1m2 1/2f at this track, beaten one length. Should be cherry-ripe. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
