PERFECT GOLD (3) finished sixth two runs back at Geelong then improved last time out to score by a head over 7f at Wangaratta. Tackling a more suitable race so she is all set to build on that latest effort. QUEEN OF DEELS (4) got the upper hand late to score by 1.5 lengths last start over 7f at Echuca at the second run of the campaign. Likely to measure up again. DILLINGER (5) is knocking on the door after just missing last time over 1m at Swan Hill. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but shapes as one to consider. PEERLESS LAD (6) turned in a fine effort to score by 0.8 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose.
